Are Your Roads Broken Up Over Spring Thaw?
|
These are caused by an unstable and inconsistent road base. What causes instability? EXCESSIVE MOISTURE does. Most any road base material will stabilize when excess moisture is removed, providing a firm footing for any road surface year-round. We accomplish this with ROAD UNDERDRAIN.
Stone back-filled drain tile laid by our laser-guided drainage plow equipped with a special boot removes excess moisture from the road base, eliminating all moisture related problems. The clean stone back-fill provides faster vertical movement of water through the compacted base to the drain tile. An 18" to 24" buffer of the original road base material remains above the stone to maintain base consistency and eliminate dips from differing base material.
Road Underdrain is normally installed during the rebuilding or resurfacing process on paved roads, or anytime on gravel roads.
